I turned 30 on Saturday. It was an incredibly simple day, with a good portion of it spent with my grandparents, and it was just perfect. I didn’t freak out like JGL swore I would, I finally got to have some Dunkin Donuts coffee, and I’m feeling pretty good about the whole thing. I keep telling people that I feel like I have to start being a “real adult” since I still feel like a kid.
Other than getting to spend my day with the people I love the most, the next most exciting thing that happened was that JGL surprised me with a beautiful new DSLR. I had been eyeing them up for ages, and am so grateful to finally have my very own in my hot little hands. It’s waaay too much, but I’m absolutly over the moon. Now I just have to dig out those old photography notes from college so I can brush up on my aperture vs f-stops and all of those photog nuances that have long been forgotten. Any suggestions or helpful hints are more than welcomed!
